The pre-season meeting for the Holiday Ministry Stewards is on Tuesday 30th April at 2.00 p.m. in the Parish Church Lounge. We hope that all stewards will be able to come to this important get-together and briefing before the start of the season. Anyone else who would like to get involved in this ministry over the coming summer season is also very welcome. Coffee/tea and cake will be served as an inducement!

On Sunday 28th April, we have just one morning service* - at 10.00 a.m. in the Parish Church - when all our morning congregations come together for a communion service.  This will be followed, at about 11.15, by the Annual Meeting of Parishioners to elect Churchwardens and our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM).  These will both take place in the Parish Hall. The Annual Meeting of Parishioners is open to anyone on the Electoral Roll of the Parish of Cromer and residents of the Parish of Cromer whose names are on the register of local government electors.  The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is open only to those on the Electoral Roll of the Parish of Cromer and clergy associated with the parish.

*This means that there is no 9.00 and no 10.45 at the Parish Church, and no 10.30 at St Martin's. Sunday@Seven (7.00 p.m. in the Parish Church) takes place as usual.

On Easter Sunday, 21st April, we celebrate the resurrection of the living Lord Jesus with services at the Parish Church at 9.00 (Communion), 10.45 (All-Age Easter Celebration with Communion) and 7.00 (Sunday@Seven with Communion); and at St Martin's at 10.30 (Easter Communion). Whatever your age, background or experience, you'll find a warm welcome at all our services, and we look forward to seeing you there as we share the greatest good news ever, "Hallelujah! He is risen. He is risen indeed. Hallelujah!"

Good Friday falls on 19th April and, this year, we mark it with three events at the Parish Church.

First, at 9.30, there will be a time of Prayer and Reflection. Everyone is welcome.

This is followed, at 11.30, by Cromer@TheCross. Using drama, words and music we re-tell the story of the first Good Friday, including the drams of Jesus's trial and crucifixion. Cromer@TheCross will take place in the gardens outside the Parish Church. Everyone is welcome to come along to watch or join in and to stay for a hot drink and a Hot Cross Bun afterwards.

Then, between 2.00-4.00 in the afternoon, there will be Easter activities for families in and around the Parish Church and Cornerstone Café will be open in the Parish Church.

Whatever your age, background or experience, you'll find a warm welcome at all these events and we look forward to seeing you there.

British Summer Time has started and clocks went forward an hour overnight. We hope you remembered to put your clocks forward an hour... Otherwise, you'll arrive for church just as the service is finishing! That might be a good excuse for getting straight to the coffee, but think of all the good things you'll miss out on!
