You are invited to Cromer Parish Church for 'A Time to Remember' at 3.30 p.m. on Sunday 12th May 2019. 'A Time to Remember' is a short, reflective service to give thanks for the lives of those whose funerals we have taken over the last two or three years.

Lasting about 50 minutes, with a mixture of familiar hymns, readings and prayers, the service will include an opportunity to remember by name those who have died over the last year. We hope you might feel able to join us for this service, and to bring others for whom it might be helpful.

During the service, there will be an opportunity to hang a heart-shaped card, with a memory or message, on our tree of remembrance. The cards will be available at the service or, in advance, from the church office.

The local support group due to have been held on Saturday 4th May at 7.30 p.m.has been CANCELLED. LifeLight is the new name for Cromer Beach Mission and all friends and supporters are welcome to come along to support group to pray for this year's event and to help us plan our local support for the team. This year, LifeLight takes place between Sunday 25th and Friday 30th August. There will be holiday-club style activities for 3-10 year-olds each morning, all-age fun and games each afternoon and evening events for families and young people. Full details will be available soon.

The pre-season meeting for the Holiday Ministry Stewards is on Tuesday 30th April at 2.00 p.m. in the Parish Church Lounge. We hope that all stewards will be able to come to this important get-together and briefing before the start of the season. Anyone else who would like to get involved in this ministry over the coming summer season is also very welcome. Coffee/tea and cake will be served as an inducement!

On Sunday 28th April, we have just one morning service* - at 10.00 a.m. in the Parish Church - when all our morning congregations come together for a communion service.  This will be followed, at about 11.15, by the Annual Meeting of Parishioners to elect Churchwardens and our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM).  These will both take place in the Parish Hall. The Annual Meeting of Parishioners is open to anyone on the Electoral Roll of the Parish of Cromer and residents of the Parish of Cromer whose names are on the register of local government electors.  The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is open only to those on the Electoral Roll of the Parish of Cromer and clergy associated with the parish.

*This means that there is no 9.00 and no 10.45 at the Parish Church, and no 10.30 at St Martin's. Sunday@Seven (7.00 p.m. in the Parish Church) takes place as usual.

There will be a picnic or coffee shop lunch at the end of the walk. Transport available. Please contact us for more details.
