The 2019 recital season continues on Tuesday 13th August at 8.00 p.m. in the Parish Church with recitalist Matthew Bond. Matthew began learning the organ in 2000 having lessons with Peter Stevenson. In 2006 he passed ABRSM grade 8 Organ winning the Willden prize for that year. He studied A-levels at City College in Norwich, which included music and music technology. He then went to read music at the University of East Anglia, graduating with an honours degree in 2010.

Matthew has completed a Diocesan organ scholarship, studying with Julian Haggett. Matthew is the director of music at St. Mary’s Wroxham and one of the organists at the recently opened Cromer Crematorium. He is accompanist for several local choirs including the Norwich Singers, The Choir Worstead and Broadland Youth choir. He is currently the membership secretary and President of the Norfolk Organists association.

Admission to all the recitals is free (though there's an opportunity to make a donation at the end) and everyone is welcome. Our recital season continues weekly until the end of September.
