A pair of Peregrine Falcons has set up home on the Parish Church tower and are raising three chicks. In cooperation with the Hawk and Owl Trust and the North-East Norfolk Bird Club, a CCTV monitor has been made available in the church to enable church family members and visitors to watch the birds on their nesting tray. Please note that this facility is not available during service times, which means that it won’t be possible to view the pictures between 8.30 a.m. and 12.15 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. and 8.15 p.m. on Sunday or at any time when a wedding, funeral or other service is taking place. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Peregrines are protected birds and disturbing their nest site is an offence. This means that the tower will remain closed to visitors until further notice. We know that a lot of people look forward to climbing the tower when they visit Cromer but that simply isn't possible at the moment. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding.
