At the end of this school half-term week, please pray for...

• the staff at our schools; that they may enthuse and inspire the people with whom they work.

• the pupils and students of our schools; that they may be excited and inspired to learn.

• governors and all those who support schools as volunteers; that they may serve the whole school community wisely and well.

• all who work to provide education to those denied it for political or cultural reasons; that they may not be discouraged.

• all those taking evening classes, adult education courses or any kind of self-study; that they may know the joy of learning new things and acquiring new skills.

• those too sick, sad or worried to learn; that they may be made whole, and be confident of their ability to succeed.

• the members of our Church family; that we may be good learners; ready to listen and to respond; working to overcome our weaknesses, to serve God and to serve our community in His name.
