2013 will be the fourth year here in Cromer when we encourage ourselves to get involved with 'Passion for Life' in the run up to Easter. It’s an initiative undertaken mainly by small groups and other teams of people within our church family to find creative ways to serve and bless the people of our town.

Some great stuff has been done before: free car washes, giving out free soup and bacon rolls to passers by, visiting and praying for shopkeepers, cleaning up the beach, an outreach concert, offering prayer for healing outside the church... These were just a few of them, but... does God want us to do the same things again? Even good things can become stale. I believe we can ask the Holy Spirit to inspire us with fresh ideas of his, even if he nudges us nearer to the edge of our comfort zones...

Why not seek some Holy Spirit guidance, alone and with others? I am convinced that he has some great ideas for us and, because they’ll be his ideas, he’ll show us how to put them into practice.
