Home What's On? C of E Daily Services

Clergy in the Church of England have a duty to say Morning and Evening Prayer every day, and many Christians share in this duty by saying the daily prayers on their own or in small groups in church, at home or elsewhere.

The services available here are supplied as a feed from the official Church of England Website, and include the full text of psalms, bible readings and prayers, as well as links to other optional material.

Choose the service you want, using the drop-down menus, and when you click 'Get the service', a new window will open (you might need to change your pop-up window blocker to allow pop-ups from this site) and display the text of the selected service. Scroll down through the service, reading both the minister's part and the responses at your own pace. Close the window to return to this page when you have finished.

Bible Motto 2010

praise_hands"And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

Our 2010 Bible motto is taken from Acts 2:47 and reminds us that, as a Christian church family, we exist to worship a loving God; to express that love in Christian community; to draw people to Jesus; to build them up as His followers, and to equip them for service for the good of the world.
