September sees the start of a new term here in Cromer (old teaching habits are hard to leave behind) with two new teaching series.
In the morning we are going to be thinking about what it means to be Church together in a series called, 'God's New Community', while in the evening we are going to see what we can learn from the life of Abraham (a figure that Jews, Moslems and Christians all hold central) in a series called, 'The man of faith'. I hope that you will join us for both these times.
September also sees the restart of our Small Groups. In a Church our size it is these groups that enable us to relate at a smaller and more intimate level than is often possible on a Sunday. They are a place to learn, worship, support, serve, and reach out together in practical ways. If you're not yet in a Small Group, and would like to be, please have a word with me or with one of the Small Group Leaders. Their photos are in both our Worship Centres. If you would like to change groups for any reason - and, sometimes, a change is good - again, please have a word. The groups are going to be looking at the same themes as the morning series, so giving us a chance to explore further and more practically than is sometimes possible in a Sunday service. With 16 'official' groups currently meeting - plus two others(!) - there should be one which is right for you. So why not get involved?
